emily-bartlett-croppedEmily M. Bartlett comes from a long line of health care practitioners–from her Filipino great-great-grandmother, a village shaman-healer, to her father, a Western family doctor.  She applies her respect for both western knowledge and ancient wisdom to her practice of modern Chinese medicine for the whole family.

Emily received a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s college, and has studied with renowned specialists in women’s health and fertility such as Randine Lewis of The Fertile Soul.  Emily guides women on the road to motherhood from pre-conception preparation for natural pregnancies to support for more advanced fertility challenges requiring Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).  She has extensive experience helping expectant moms through all stages of their pregnancies, from morning sickness and back aches to breech babies and post-partum care.

Through years of treating women’s health and fertility, Emily has heard many moms (and dads!) wishing for more diverse healthcare options for their little ones.  As a mother, she understands the unique needs of modern families.  Emily has completed extensive post-graduate work in pediatrics through the Holistic Pediatric Association.  Her practice blends both eastern and western traditions to provide optimal, compassionate care for kids.  Although she is trained as an acupuncturist, her children’s practice very seldom uses needles and includes kid-friendly tools to stimulate acu-points.  She also incorporates palatable herbal remedies, Chinese therapeutic massage, homeopathy and nutritional counseling, as well as providing a comprehensive network of resources for parents. Emily believes that healthy kids make healthy adults…it’s never too early to be well.
