I have had lots of experience with acupuncture, my dad practicing acupuncture on me since I was a teenager.  I am knowledgeable in the ways of self-care - exercise, meditation, keeping stress low, etc.  However it was with Emily’s guidance and the physical and emotional space she provided, that I truly learned how to care for myself… I feel my best life really started with her.

I began seeing Emily at the end of my pregnancy when my obstetrician began pressuring me about induction.  I had never had acupuncture before and was a little nervous and unsure of what to expect.  Emily’s calm pressence made it a relaxing treatment, and after two sessions, she was able to “naturally” induce me.  I went into labor less than 12 hours later! I have continued to see Emily for postpartum acupuncture and herbal supplementation, which greatly improved my overall recovery.Additionally, Emily has seen Rose since her birth.  I found that my pediatrician raced through my appointments and I left each time feeling like my questions weren’t addressed.  Emily has a wealth of information on various topics, including proper nutrition and treatments for all my baby concerns (indigistion, diaper rash, cold/flu, etc).  Emily’s practice has been an excellent addition to traditional medicine for my family.

I started seeing Emily to help with infertility. I grew to treasure our appointments even though this avenue was not sucessful for my family. I continued to see emily through our adoption process because of the peace of mind and body that her treatments brought to my life.
